Spring is a wonderful time to Cleanse. Winter brings up a certain heaviness as we stay indoors more, and eat those delicious hearty soups and stews that keep us warm and insulated. The change to spring is a time to essentially recolonize your digestive tract, and prepare it for the raw foods of summertime. Below are some recipes that I often recommend to my spring cleanse clients. They are designed to continue warming and nourishing the body while inviting in more color and activating the liver to begin its yearly deep cleaning.
